John performs in clubs across North America, including the Comic Strip in New York and the Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach. He is also a regular performer on such acclaimed independent comedy shows as Whiplash, Comedy Bang Bang, Meltdown, and Comedy at the Knitting Factory. John was a guest at the 2004 HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, the 2009 Just For Laughs Festival in Chicago, and has been an annual guest at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland since 2010.
